Psst ... #ItsATooth - Celebrate the joy of teething...

Rough Night?
When you have a baby there are so many fun, amazing moments.  Moments that fill your heart full of love and your eyes full of tears of happiness.  However, as any parent knows, it’s not all cuddles and laughter.  For myself and I’m sure many others would agree, one of the most frustrating, tiring and painful experiences of parenthood is the dreaded teething stage.
Our poor little angels are in pain and as a parent you want to do anything and everything in your power to take that pain away (and let’s be honest, you also want to get a good night’s sleep).
That’s when I break out the CALPOL!   It was a no brainer that I would choose Calpol Infant Suspension.  It’s one of those brands that you can trust and you know it works.  As a child it’s what I was given, my siblings, cousins etc so of course it’s what I would buy for my own daughter.
Not only is Calpol effective in combating pain and fever it also tastes pretty good so it’s easy to get your child to take it.

Swap your heels for running shoes

So I guess you could call me a MILF....
As much as I love my heels (who doesn't? They look hot!) I would pick my running shoes over heels any day, because lets be honest, they are comfortable, practical and don't require any sort of ice bath for your feet afterwards to try and relieve the pain from that night out dancing.  Yeah, we've all been there!  A couple of years ago I bough my first pair of ASICS running shoes for a Totally RAD 5K Run called Colour Me Rad.  A fun, colourful 5k you can take at your own pace whilst lovely people throw coloured bombs at you, giving your newly white Tee a beautiful rainbow look!

Before my ASICS I bought many, many pairs of Nike running shoes in a range of girly colours which I loved dearly and wore them to the gym daily.  Then one day I was looking for another pair of running shoes that would give me more support and I came across THE shoes... ASICS Gel Nimbus 18.  If Cinderella wore running shoes, ASICS is what she would wear.  They fit …

It's all about the lips πŸ—’

This week I decided to treat myself to some new lipsticks πŸ—’
If you're anything like me then lipstick swatches are useful when picking a new shade so below are swatches of:
πŸ’„MAC Pick me, Pick me
πŸ’„MAC Model Behaviour
πŸ’„MAC Milan Mode
πŸ’„Revlon Ultra HD™ Gel Lipcolor in the shade of Twilight 770
All of these lipsticks moisturize the lips and last well. The Revlon is half the price and smells delicious at £7.99, I purchased mines from Superdrug.
MAC has always been a firm favourite of mines but after trying this Revlon lipcolor I will most definitely be buying some of the other shades in the range.
MAC Pick me, Pick Me is a lilac colour with sparkle!  MAC Model Behaviour is a bit bolder, it's a dark purple with shimmer and MAC Milan Mode is a pink that will be great for wearing during the day, this also has a lovely shimmer to it. These retail at £16.50.

Whats your vice?

My vice is make up!

I have so much make up that I have several make up bags bursting at the seams!
A couple of months ago I received this free sample of Urban Decay's Vice Liquid Lipstick range and today I finally got around to trying it out and I have to say I'm completely in love!

I have tried the 4 shades in the sample and they are all gorgeous!  When you first apply the lipstick it goes on your lips like a slick lip gloss but dries in quickly to a matte lipstick!  They are long lasting, water resistant and have withstood my cup of tea test!  Hardly any colour on my mug.  Also, between taking the lipstick off during the different swatches I found it was hard work trying to get it off my lips so I have no doubt this colour will last throughout the day!
Usually when it comes to lipsticks I tend to stick to MAC and NYX but after trying this sample I know what I'm going to be buying this bank holiday weekend.   My favourite shades are Crimson and Big Bang!
Here's my swatch…
